Also, please, when using the bot keep the other user's chat experience in mind. If things are happening no one wants it flooded with gamba or other commands, if you spam commands you might get blacklisted from the bot for a bit. If you are extremely annoyed by the bot you can block the forum account @Fishtank Observer to hide its messages.

Money

• You have a starting balance of ₣500, check with !bal
• You can redeem ₣300 every day with !daily
• You can send money to users via !juice <user id>
• You can get your user id with !addy, or the id of someone else with !whois <user name>
• You can check someone else's balance with !pocketwatch <user id/user name>
• You can gamble there's a bunch of games, !dice, !lambchop, etc.

Stox

• You can now trade the stox of fish
• !stox to check the price, this can only be run be moderators for now, the top two and bottom two stocks are always visible in the MOTD message at the top of chat
• !stox buy <name> <amount>, i.e. !stox buy JD 4.5 to buy 4.5 shares of JD at the current price
• !stox sell <name> <amount>
• !stox short <name> <amount> to short, !stox cover <name> <amount> to close a short

Misc

• !time, get the current time in the tank
• !sharex, get instructions for clipping
• !jet, get jet quotes, !jetitup, !burtitup, !twinitup, !benitup, !prayge, !fishitup - get random gifs/images for different topics
• !vapetiup - increase the vape counter, !vapecount - get the current vape count, !prayitup - increase the prayer counter, !praycount - get the current prayer count

Predictions

!bet [amount] [option]

to bet on an outcome

If there are two prediction ongoing, i.e. "Who will get eliminated" and "Who'll win the challenge?", you have to provide which prediction you're betting on. You can just provide a shorthand and don't have to write the entire question out:

!bet eliminated 50 landon
!bet challenge 50 landon

Clipping

Clips are important for people who can't watch live and to make the thread readable later down the line, to make it as easy as possible there's clipping commands for the bot.

• !clip start <camera name> to start buffering a camera, this will keep the last 8 minutes for as long as the camera is being clipped
• !clip list to check which cameras are currently in the buffer, up to three cameras can be buffered
• !clip cameras to get a list of all camera names
• !clip queue to check which clips are currently processing
• Only three cameras can be simultaneously monitored with !clip start, so if a fourth one is clipped with !clip start, the oldest one will be dropped to save bandwidth and memory
• !clip begin <camera name> this will set a marker at the current time. If a marker is set you can use !clip save [camera name] with no duration argument to save everything from the marker start to the current time. It's advised to set the marker early and stop late to make sure nothing gets cut off.
• !clip save <camera name> 1m to save one minute (2m for two minutes 30s for 30 seconds etc.) of the current buffer (up to 8 minutes) and upload it. When providing a clip length you should add about 30 seconds on top since there is a delay. The bot will post a link, this link expires after one hour, if it's a good clip download and reupload it to the thread for a permanent archive. The bot will resize and compress the clip to 720p, it will report its progress in chat, be patient.
• !clip stop <camera name> to stop buffering a camera or !clip stop to stop all cameras. If you're done clipping and no one else is there to clip run this to save bandwidth for the server, thank you.

Finally, download the clip from the link that the bot posts and post it in the thread.

Clipping can only be done by certain users for now, if you want access to it ask for it in the chat.

Mod commands

There are three main roles for the bot: Guest, Rat, Clipper, True and Honest. Most commands can be used by guests, clipping commands only by Clippers or True and Honest, and mod commands only by True and Honest

Predictions:

• !pred start "Will something happen?" "Yes" "No" "Idk" To start a prediction, the quotes are required
• !pred cancel to cancel a prediction and pay back every bet
• !pred close to close betting
• !pred status to show the status of the prediction
• !pred end [winning option] to finalize the prediction and pay out the winners

Note if there are multiple predictions going on you have to provide the question/name of the prediction for the commands, i.e.

• !pred cancel "Will something happen?"
• !pred close "Will something happen?"
• !pred status "Will something happen?"
• !pred end "Will something happen?" [winning option]

For status you can use a shorthand, i.e. just the word "happen", but for the other commands you need to provide the entire question in quotes so the bot can correctly identify the prediction.

Image carousel

• !admin image [list] add|remove [url] [tag1] [tag2] [tag3] to add remove an image. A list of space separated tags can be added at the end of the add command. This way when invoking the command people can search for tagged images
• !admin image 7483 add|remove 345435 just gibberish to make the bot tell you which lists exist

Roles

You can give other users roles below you, i.e. manly clipper (50)

!admin role set [user id] 50

Misc

• !admin motd set [motd] This sets the text for the pinned message. It only changes the text after the date/time, the rest of the motd is generated by the bot (stox table/jobs etc.)
• !admin delete [num] To delete the [num] last messages
• !kasino close|open To open/close gamba
• !admin kasino [game] disable To disable a specific game
• !stox close|open To open/close stox trading
• !admin fishtank forward add|remove [name] To add/remove a user to be forwarded from fishtank chat to sneed chat (i.e. to see jets chat messages)

Changelog

March, 22th

• The bot will now whisper clip links that have finished processing when the chat is active. Whispers are visible across all channels, so just join a less active channel and look for the whisper message there.
• Fixed image carousel not compressing images from KF

March, 21th

• The MOTD now shows whether gambling and stox trading is currently enabled. It also shows whether the bot will output messages to chat or to whisper. If the chat is busy the bot output will be quiet.
• The bot will now resize, compress and re-upload images added to the image carousel.

March, 19th

• The bot can now accept some commands via whisper. Just do /w @Fisthank Observer, !stox port etc.
• The MOTD now contains the stox price, any active predictions and the job of each fish.

March, 18th

• We now have a MOTD at the top of the chat. It displays the top and bottom two stocks, the current time and a short custom message. As such normal users can no longer use the !stox command to list stox.
• The bot now deletes your command messages to keep the chat clean
• The image carousel commands (!jetitup etc.) are now on a 30 second global cooldown because they were used too much

March, 17th

• The bot now compresses and resizes clips for you. It reports the progress in chat, be patient
• The bot now can clip up to 8 minutes
• Fixed some formatting for numbers so they don't turn into emojis
